Standish Water District Improvements marks the first full water treatment plant that Branon Construction has built. The team started by pouring the foundations and potable water storage tank. The block walls were then laid and trusses set on top of them. All work was performed while the existing plant was running within the same facility. A secondary well had to be drilled next to the existing well. New ductile service lines were run from the building to the wells. Branon Construction became certified potable water haulers for this job. During well drilling and well stabilization a stand alone water storage and pump had to be installed to run the town. Branon then hauled water from nearby Lyon mountain and transferred the water into this temporary water storage system. Once the new water system was online the old had to be removed to make room for a standby generator. The job was finished with the installation of cement board siding and PVC coated chainlink fence.
