Keene Salt storage marks the second salt storage building Branon Construction has constructed. The team enjoys these projects due to the shear size of every spect within the buildings. Starting with the concrete, the footers are 12'6" wide by 20" thick. The walls are 16'2" tall by 18" thick. The building measures 80' wide by 120' long. The reinforcing steel within the concrete weighed in at 36 tons. When finished there was 620 yards of concrete poured on site with the help of Fuller Concrete pumping. The trusses are the toughest our team has dealt with. Once they are in the air it is great to look back and see the accomplishment. To finish the job off we shingled the half acre roof and installed PVC siding.
